As part of the ReachGlobal Tokyo City Team, we continue to witness the great spiritual need in Tokyo, Japan—a city of 35 million people—and recognize that their only hope is a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God is leading His people from all nations to pray for Tokyo for the sake of His glory. Would you join us in prayer as we prayYamanote?
The Yamanote train line lies at the heart of the Tokyo Metro area, the largest city in the history of the world. It circles central Tokyo over 650 times each day—delivering businessmen and women, parents, students, young and old to their destinations. The 29 stops of the Yamanote connect to political, cultural, financial and educational hot-spots throughout the city. Every day, over 3.7 million people use the Yamanote.
We would like you to join us in ‘prayer-riding’ the Yamanote to lift up Tokyo for its rightful King, Jesus Christ. While we would love for each of you to join us in person, your prayers from home can impact Tokyoites for eternity!
For the month of August, we encourage you to pray daily with our team. Each day, we will highlight one of the 29 stops in our prayYamanote Facebook group. As we realize that not everyone has access to Facebook, printable materials are also available:
